Integration and system design

To get the most out of the MV-LBES-H-600-400-W we recommend operating it with a HIKROBOT MV-LE light controller, which allows strobe operation, PWM dimming and external triggering. The light is mounted directly in front of the lens - the camera looks at the object through the central aperture. This coaxial arrangement gives even, low-shadow illumination of flat and slightly reflective surfaces straight from the camera axis. In strobe mode, overdrive currents can be used for briefly higher light intensity; used correctly, this does not extend the service life of the LEDs.
