Machine vision for mechanical engineering and automation

Machine vision is a core part of modern machinery and automated production lines. Camera systems detect parts, inspect quality, measure geometries, read codes and supply position data for robots or downstream processes.

Presence and completeness checks

Is the correct part present? Has a screw been fitted? Is a seal in the right position?

Machine vision enables automated pass/fail checks directly at production speed.

Position and orientation detection

Cameras determine the position and orientation of parts and supply coordinates to the PLC, robot or handling system.

Vision guided robotics

2D and 3D cameras allow robots to locate, grip and precisely position parts.

Measuring parts
